Abstract:

In cooperation with The University of Lethbridge, Reginald Bibby researched religion in Canada by conducting a national survey in the fall of 1991, patterned after surveys that he conducted in 1980 and 1985. Bibby conducted his survey by mail between November 1991 and February of 1992 and was able to analyze 1472 usable responses. Bibby's continued work makes available significant data on major trends in religious understandings, beliefs, and practices in Canadian religious life. As a result of his 1991 survey, Bibby was able to publish two insightful books entitled, "Teen Trends" and "Unknown Gods."
