Theological Education in a World of Religious and Other Diversities

Citation:
Wilmore, Gayraud S. "Theological Education in a World of Religious and Other Diversities," Theological Education 23, Supplement (1987):142- 164.
Abstract:

Wilmore assumes that diversity -- religious, racial, gender, cultural -- is an asset for theological education, and a condition of existence for urban seminaries. He draws upon the experience of New York Theological Seminary to describe non-traditional seminary education which prepares students for ministry in cultural environments marked by diversity. (RG)
