The Reform of Theological Education as a Theological Task

Citation:
Farley, Edward. "The Reform of Theological Education as a Theological Task," Theological Education 17 (Spring 1981): 93-117.
Abstract:

The problem of unity in theological studies is theological because the authority which was once foundational to the "four-fold" pattern of theological education has been undone by critical historical study and the contemporary knowledge explosion. Farley presents a historical review, a critique of surviving patterns of theological study, and an outline of tasks for re- discovering the "unity and structure of theological study." (RG)
