Abstract:

The research conducted by the Fuller Youth Institute in its College Transition Project (CTP) indicates that only 1 in 7 youth group graduates feel that they have a faith that is ready for what they will face in college. Motivated by this and other findings, the CTP project team, including several Fuller Seminary faculty and doctoral students, has formulated practical strategies for youth leaders that can be adapted to fit particular church contexts, sizes, and denominational orientations. Specific chapter topics include building a Sticky Faith Identity, understanding the Sticky Faith Gospel, creating a Sticky Web of Support in Your Church, fostering a Sticky Faith Youth Group Environment, Justice that Sticks, and Sticky Faith Preparation for High School Seniors.
